A new website and look and feel

Not just an exterior modification, but the start of an innovative approach.

About a year ago, we were discussing how to proceed with our marketing and promotion. Just before this, we had come across another florist who was actually unaware that our flowers are produced in Ethiopia. More than once, we are also confronted with negative and one-sided reporting on flower production in East Africa. And yet we believe we have a very nice story to tell about our nurseries in Ethiopia.

Around the same time, we also got in touch with Harm from Debo Projects to exchange views over a cup of (Ethiopian) coffee. This turned out to be the start of developing a new digital strategy. With the main goal: how can we get our beautiful story better and further up the chain?

One of the first conclusions was that we actually have a very nice success story to tell. A story where our company gives livelihood security to 1,500 employees and their families. Where we not only pay our employees an above-average salary, but also help them in all kinds of other areas, such as free healthcare, studies, and so on. Where we minimise our impact on the environment and surroundings by continuously innovating our cultivation and crop protection.

We are going to propagate this beautiful powerful story more loudly. To this end, we would also like to work together with our customers to get this deeper into the chain. We see an important role for florists as ambassadors of our beautiful product.

On this website and via our social media, we will regularly start sharing background stories in which we will introduce you to our beautiful company, our inspired and passionate team, and take you through the choices we make to grow the finest products in a responsible manner.
